Cortese Vanedda Bianco 2022 awarded 93 points by Tim Atkin MW

We are pleased to announce that our Vanedda Bianco Terre Siciliane IGP 2022 has been reviewed by renowned wine writer Tim Atkin MW, who selected it as one of his Wines of the Week.

Atkin awarded Vanedda an excellent 93 points and writes:

“One of the most exciting whites I’ve tasted from Sicily in ages, this is a finely judged, organically farmed cuvée of the local grapes, Catarratto and Grillo. Fermented on skins for a couple of days – which gives the wine extra weight and backbone.”

This recognition highlights the distinctive character of Vanedda Bianco and reflects Cortese’s commitment to crafting authentic, expressive wines rooted in Sicilian tradition.
